When a project is completed and our clients are happy, our hearts are already full. But when the news arrives that this project has been awarded, pride, gratitude, and pure joy mingle. Then we know that our passion for evidence‑based design, neuroaesthetic research and exceptional creation touches not only our clients but is also recognised by the professional community.
Our micro‑architectural holiday project Micro‑Escape by the Sea was featured in the Callwey yearbook Best of Interior 2025 as one of the 50 most beautiful living concepts. The jury was made up of leading figures from respected design and architecture media: May‑Britt Frank‑Grosse (baunetz interior|design), David Gössler and Olivia Sommer (previous year’s winners, AADA), Johannes Hünig (Schöner Wohnen), Ute Laatz (author), Johanna Neves Pimenta (md Interior Design Architecture), Petra Stephan (AIT), and Carsten Wiewiorra (president of the bdia). The fact that our project, with its evidence‑based, colour‑informed design, convinced this jury is a special confirmation for us.
The project also received the Universal Design Award 2025, awarded by an expert jury headed by Prof. Wolfgang Sattler of Bauhaus University Weimar. This honour affirms the concept of our micro‑apartment: a space designed so that even people with visual impairments can enjoy a safe, independent and intuitive stay. We were also nominated for another interior project that combines inclusion with evidence‑based, neuroaesthetic design – the Hotel & Care Room developed for the Hotel Kompetenzzentrum. This barrier‑free, wheelchair‑accessible and cost‑conscious space, designed to be both aesthetically sophisticated and soothing, shows how important holistic design is for everyone.
These recognitions demonstrate that our approach to develop spaces grounded in science yet infused with poetry not only delights our clients and expert juries but also contributes to the ongoing discussion about the future of living.
Leila was recommended by a friend, and we hired her to restyle our vacation apartment. That was the best decision ever! Leila has a great eye for space and layout, along with an innovative and individual design approach that we absolutely loved. She advised us on removing a partition wall and how to furnish the new room. We love how she integrated several pieces of the existing furniture from our Budapest apartment, creating a relaxing atmosphere that is cozy and laid-back, yet chic and elevated. This sophisticated look was exactly what we were looking for—Leila knew it without us even having to say much. We never imagined that our holiday home could look this great! Her talent for blending classic and contemporary elements transformed our space into the perfect retreat, reflecting our personal style while providing an inviting atmosphere for guests. Wir danken Leila von ganzem Herzen für die beeindruckende Neugestaltung unseres nur 13 m² großen Ferienapartments in Kroatien. Nach Jahrzehnten ohne Renovierung konnten wir uns nicht vorstellen, wie daraus etwas Schönes werden sollte, bis Leila mit ihrer Vision und ihrem Gespür für Raum kam. Sie übernahm Planung, Möbelentwurf und Dekor, koordinierte souverän die Handwerker und sorgte mit großer Fachkompetenz dafür, dass Installationen und Details perfekt umgesetzt wurden. Mit ihrer „Zauberhand“, kreativen Ideen und Präzision verwandelte sie unsere kleine Garçonnière in ein 5‑Sterne-Refugium, das großzügig wirkt, praktischen Stauraum bietet und unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen hat. Wirklich jeder unserer Besucher staunt über unser Apartment mit dem offenem Mund! Wir fühlen uns dort rundum wohl und genießen jeden Augenblick. Der von ihr entworfene Schrank ist ein echtes Stauraumwunder. Für diese herausragende Leistung sind wir unendlich dankbar und empfehlen Leila und Studio Vils uneingeschränkt weiter.

Leila is such a gem! With my demanding job leaving me with no time, I desperately needed help organizing and decorating my newly purchased home. It was not yet fully furnished when I heard about Leila from a friend. We started with an online consultation, and then she came to my place for an in-person visit. She had amazing ideas, so I decided to hire her for interior design and space organization, and she did an incredible job! Thanks to her, my home looks incredible, my kitchen is perfectly organized, and I finally have enough space for everything I need. She managed to optimize the space beautifully while creating an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere.
Since she has a very sophisticated, european taste, I let her curate beautiful pieces that reflect my personal style (artistic) while complementing the eclectic vibe of my apartment. Aufgrund der Bauweise unseres Hauses ist das Wohnzimmer eigentlich eher ein schmales Durchgangszimmer. Es hat sich unseren Versuchen, eine gemütlichen Wohnatmosphäre zu erreichen, leider immer erfolgreich widersetzt. Mit Studio Vils haben wir dann einen letzten Versuch gewagt, es noch einmal zu probieren. Um es gleich vorneweg zu nehmen, zum Glück! Bereits beim ersten Kontakt hatten wir einen sehr, sehr guten Eindruck - Leila ist kompetent, sprüht vor guten Ideen, hört ganz genau zu und fragt die richtigen Fragen. Dies bestätigte sich dann auch für die Dauer des gesamten Projekts. Obwohl Leila nie (leider) in unserem Haus war, war ihr Konzept für das Wohnzimmer einfach großartig ausgearbeitet. Stets stand sie uns freundlich, kompetent, ideenreich und vor allem sehr geduldig zur Seite. Nun sind wir voller Vorfreude, Leilas Konzept umzusetzen. Wir empfehlen sie und ihr Studio Vils uneingeschränkt weiter!
