Workshop of Ideas. Engineering office in the historic town center
2024
this interior was conceived as a workshop of ideas for an engineering office specializing in architecture and project management – a place where the daily balance between precision and creativity is mastered. at the large table, building plans are spread out, models are discussed, and notes are added in pencil. next door, in the open area, spontaneous conversations arise when partners from structural engineering, building services, or landscape planning drop by. and that was precisely the goal of our project: to enable creativity, concentration, and encounter all at once. the space itself reflects this openness in its core structure – with few partition walls, large windows, and views into greenery. flexible furniture can be transformed with a single movement, shifting from workplace to project arena.
we didn’t want to design a representative office in the classical sense, but a network office whose atmosphere encourages exchange while ensuring precise work. embedded in the historic town center, this project is, for us, a statement on contemporary working culture – where good interior design brings together professionalism and creativity while fostering dialogue with its surroundings.
