Irish lifestyle in the heart of the city

2025

a piece of ireland in germany – without clichés, but with a modern, artistic touch. the client, herself an artist and design enthusiast, wanted an interior that would make her love of ireland tangible. instead of rustic stone walls, heavy farmhouse cabinets, and floral wallpaper, the design captures the irish atmosphere in a subtle and contemporary way: warm, cozy, elegant.

the decisive element was the color palette: deep greens, warm earth tones, and bold accents create the atmosphere one instinctively associates with ireland – a sense of comfort and expansiveness at once. in the choice of materials and furniture, we relied on high-quality natural products: oak parquet flooring throughout, natural stone accents at the dining and coffee tables, and in the kitchen, where a calm, durable countertop withstands the demands of everyday life. lamps with a rustic character recall irish cottages without falling into folklore. heavy curtains made of coarse fabric frame the view outside, while fine patterns and inviting seating soften the space and make it feel intimate.

this home does not show images of ireland; instead, it tells a story – of windswept coasts and weathered evenings, of comfort and quiet coziness.
