Health & Mind Loft

2024

"i need therapy and coaching spaces that inspire and allow for letting go." with this wish, the client – a giftedness diagnostician and coach for highly gifted individuals – came to us. her new spaces were to be suitable not only for conversations with children and adults, but also for yoga, breathwork sessions, and seminars. above all, they were meant to offer calm while opening both mental and emotional expansiveness. a particularly important aspect was a flexible interior: with light, movable furniture arrangements, the loft can be transformed within minutes and without effort – from a quiet space for meditation to a setting for dynamic team workshops.

the old, imposing farmhouse provided the framework: exposed beams, warm floors, and high ceilings create a spatial feeling that oscillates between bavarian tradition and modern openness. on this foundation, we developed an interior that follows the principles of evidence-based design and neuroaesthetics. bright, open surfaces encourage a free flow of thought, while subtle color accents are purposefully placed to foster focus and inspiration. natural materials and clear lines calm the autonomic nervous system and ease the process of letting go. these rooms do not impress through spectacular color palettes or elaborate built-ins, but through simplicity, warmth, and the art of highlighting the essential. here, work and mindfulness are equally supported, and everyone who enters feels: here i can breathe freely, think clearly, and simply be.
